Benslers in Peru (and beyond)

Just 2 days before we left Florida for our three week trip to Canada, Evan completed his check ride and received his pilot's license. It was an exciting day! Despite the terrible weather, Evan was able to complete his test and then take me for a quick flight to celebrate. What a blessing to watch Evan fulfill a dream he has had since childhood!

We believe the Lord opened the door for Evan to learn to fly and we look forward to seeing how the Lord will use it. Slowly, we are learning not to jump ahead of the Lord. Our natural tendency is to look at all of the doors the Lord has opened and then extrapolate a direction beyond what He has showed us. The hope is to be able to use this skill to extend the reach of our medical teaching in remote areas, but we don't know the mind of the Lord and trust the future to Him. We trust it was a gift from the Lord and look forward to discovering the hows and whys.
