Prayer Requests for Brazil Trip

Thank you so much for partnering with us in prayer for this trip.  Prayer is a crucial component of a missions trip.

Please pray:
The Trip
~ that we will be about the Father's business.  God has many reasons for us to be on this trip, and we want to be found focusing on those things He has for us.
~ for wisdom and discernment
~ for God's protection as we travel
~ for learning opportunities and for opportunities to meet with river pastors.
~ for language acquisition...that God will enable us  to understand Portuguese and be able to speak.  It's similar to Spanish, but different enough to cause us problems!
~ for Evan's trip to Ecuador just days after our return.
Family
~ that God will bless Heather's mom and our kids as they stay behind in Florida.
~for God's protection over our kids while we are away.
~ for the Dersch family, who will watch our kids for a few days during our trip. That God will bless them!
