Quick Update

Christmas feels like a distant memory now that we are full swing into packing and preparing to leave. It was good to have a break and spend time with family and friends.

Our life has felt a bit unsettled as of late. Although our friends have not yet sold their house, they do feel that God is directing them to rent ours. That is a huge answer to prayer for us and now we can leave to Peru with the knowledge that our house is well taken care of. Waiting for this detail to be taken care of was a big one. Do we delay our leaving? Are we to leave with the house details not settled? Many questions with the clear response from the Lord that we were to wait...wait on HIM to answer and work out the details. Waiting is difficult, but that is where we find God grows our relationship with Him. His peace has truly sustained us through this time.

Despite this answer to prayer, we still feel that we are to delay our departure to Peru. Steve Saint has invited Evan and I to meet with him and the guys from ITEC. Lord willing we will travel down to Florida next week. Having the opportunity to meet again and spend time planning together we be invaluable. We'll keep you posted on how the trip goes. As for our departure date...we'll likely only delay our move by a week. We'll let you know when we know!

Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragment. The lessons are coming at us fast and we need God's direction and wisdom.
