Three Weeks...

Random 1 - Seaside walkIt's only more three more weeks and we will be back in Canada for a short visit. We have to leave Peru in order to fulfill requirements for our residency visas. It will be good to reconnect with our friends and family before heading down to Peru again.

We are in a time of real transition right now. Formal language classes finish next week and the kids are finishing of their school year. As my homeschooling friends know, wrapping up the school year and preparing for the final meeting with the homeschool facilitator is stressful. It is the final push to complete the task at hand and prepare for our time in Canada and the task infront of us. The past few weeks have been especially challenging as we are in this time of transition.

Random 2 - Kids

Language school has been a blessing in many ways. It has given us the opportunity to learn Spanish and it stopped us from jumping into ministry too soon. As I reflect on our 4 months here, I can see the wisdom in taking this time to get to know our surroundings, build relationships with people in our church and learn how to survive in this new culture. We are grateful for the time we have had here and look forward to the ministry opportunities that lay ahead of us, trusting God to guide and equip us.
Random 3 - Beach Road

Overall the first few months in Peru have been good. We knew it would be a challenging time and it met our expectations! Thank you so much for praying for us.

These are some photos taken from our last homeschool club. We took the kids down the cliffs to the beach to watch seabirds. It was a nice way to finish off homeschool clubs for the school year.
