Global Medical Health Conference

Steve at the Itec booth This was our third year in a row attending the Global Medical Health Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. Each time we have visited the conference, the Lord has used it to open doors and give us further direction. It was just last year at the GMHC conference that we met Steve Saint and began a partnership with Itec. At this years conference we were blessed to meet many other like-minded medical professionals who believe that indigenous God-followers can be equipped to care for their people's medical, dental and transportation needs. Compared to other years, we found more medical professionals who were open to training and equipping those they serve instead of just "doing medicine."

This year at the conference, Itec made an effort to showcase many of the projects currently underway. Mark also had a few different models of the portable dental chairs to show. The Itec banners featured the I-fly (flying car and airplane building business), I-See (optometry), I-Med (medical training), and the I-Dent (dental training) projects. On each of the banners was the slogan "I-Can..." featuring indigenous believers using these programs to strengthen their churches and reach their people for Jesus. The Itec booth was busy and the enthusiasm for the current projects was encouraging.
