Our dear friends, Jason and Shauna Caldwell, stopped in for a visit while on holidays last week. It was such an encouragement to spend time with them. We have known the Caldwells for 13 years and our families are very close. What a blessing it was to have old friends from home here for a visit!
Evan is hard at work finishing off the I-See training video in preparation for the trip to Ecuador at the end of the month. Although making a video is a slow process, having a team available and the equipment makes it much more efficient. Many of the volunteers and staff at ITEC find themselves acting in the video.
Just after completing his medical studies, Evan made the comment that one day he would like work in video. Having just lived through medical school and residency with him, I could not see how making videos could possibly fit together with practicing medicine. Honestly, the thought frightened me. Eleven years later, it is neat to see how God has brought together Evan's medical training and his love for video editing in this ministry.
