We made a video update for our home church in Calgary and thought you, our blog-reading friends, might like to see it.
Prayer Request:
We just found out that Evan's passport renewal application has been rejected. Although we received an email from the passport office last Tuesday saying his application was accepted and passports would be sent on the 17th, they called this past Friday morning to let us know they had rejected it. At this moment he does not have a passport (you have to surrender your passport to reapply) and the office said they will not expedite the application for us. Evan has a flight to Ecuador booked for the 26th to join a team of dentists and others to hold the first training session at the new training center site. We see this as spiritual opposition and ask you to pray for God to intervene on our behalf. Although it looks impossible, we have a God who can do the impossible. Thanks for praying.
