Preparations

With less than 3 weeks to go, we are definitely feeling the pressure of preparations! Doing something that we've never done before is one thing, teaching it is quite another. We are daily being pressed into a deeper trust of God. At the same time we are amazed and blessed to see God working, in spite of us, to provide in so many ways. He continues to prove Himself faithful, even before we ask! Thank you for your continuing prayer, especially for the course development, and the practical aspects of preparing to teach together.

Disease of the Day that we've never seen before:

schistosomiasis: infestation with or disease caused by schistosomes (mammalian blood flukes (worms)); specifically : a severe endemic disease of humans in Africa and parts of Asia and South America that is contracted when cercariae, released from certain snail hosts into freshwaters, penetrate the skin and enter the blood stream, over time complications can arise from urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, lungs, heart and/or neurological ivolvement, often marked by bloody urine and diarrhea
