Lights, Cameras and Transitions!

While we were in Canada, Evan and I made a five day trip to Dunnellon, Florida to meet with the team at I-TEC. It was a blessing to spend time with the team and to move ahead on the filming of the non-verbal medical training video. I have included some shots from one of the filming sessions.

As we spent time together as a team, it became apparent that being at the same site really made moving forward on the project easier. Although it was a difficult decision, we have decided to travel as a family to Florida for the months of September and October. We do not want to lose the sense of connection we have with the church here in Lima, but recognize the long term benefits of spending this time at I-TEC and moving ahead on this phase of the work.

We appreciate your prayers as we are in a time of transition. We have just returned to Peru from Canada and find ourselves packing once again for a significant trip. As well, a team from our home church (RMCC) in Calgary will be arriving in Lima in just two weeks and Heather will be traveling with them to Iquitos (jungle) for a short term mission trip. Just two days after returning to Lima we will be off to Florida. Nothing like a little excitement. One of the sayings we often hear is "blessed are the flexible for they will not be broken." We want to be yielded to the Lord, hearing His voice and willing to obey.
