Evan and I travel to Lima tomorrow to spend a week packing our things and saying good-bye to our friends and church family there. Back in late August, when we left Lima, it was not clear that we would be moving to Ecuador. In fact we had planned to stay in Florida for only 8 weeks to help with the I-Med project at ITEC. Now almost 5 months later we are returning to Lima to wrap things up there.
We plan to write more about the transition from Peru to Ecuador in our next blog entry. For now we just want to ask you to pray for us as we travel, pack up our things and say our good-byes.
Please pray for:
- the kids, as they spend a week with Steve and Ginny Saint
- Evan and I as we attempt to pack up our family's belongings in just 6 suitcases
- the last of our things to sell- specifically our fridge and keyboard
-God's blessing on our time with our friends and church family
- safety as we travel
Praise: We have already sold the majority of our furniture, appliances and things before even returning to Peru. That frees us up to spend more time with people.
