ITEC: A typical day

I thought you might be interested in seeing what ITEC looks like. Here are some shots from a typical day. Due to the large number of visitors and projects underway, it is rarely quiet here and never boring.

There is an atmosphere of collaboration at ITEC. Whether it is designing banners for a conference booth or installing wings on a newly built airplane, the team often works together. This makes for a great work environment when you need help, but can make it challenging when you need to focus on your own project. Evan can often be found hiding in his cubicle trying to get some video editing done.

In addition to the medical and optometry program that we are involved with, there is work being done on the training programs such as dentistry, flying, mechanics and airplane building. All of these programs are designed to equip indigenous believers in frontier areas.

The boardroom also functions as a bit of a museum. Memorabilia from the time Steve Saint's family spent in Ecuador and Waodani artifacts line the ITEC the room. Due to to popularity of the movie, End of the Spear, many visitors drop in at ITEC for a tour. If you feel so inclined to visit, we'd love to have you. Just please call ahead!
