The May issue of Popular Mechanics is out with the article about the Maverick, Itec's flying car, and the history of the Saint family's interactions with the Waodani. I thought this might be of interest since we posted about the journalist's visit in earlier posts.
Recently, Itec has received news of a number of training centres being started in South America. There is a considerable amount of interest in implementing the programs Itec has developed. We are continuing to pray about how we can be involved in these efforts.
We were greatly encouraged by our visits from our friends from Canada and Peru. While discussing the sometimes crooked path the Lord seems to have had our family on this past year, John, our pastor from Peru, reminded us of the reason we first went to Peru. The desire we had was to train and equip Christian leaders in Peru with tools that will enable 
them to carry out the Great Commission. He encouraged us to see that, although we are not currently living in Peru, we are doing just what we set out to do. He encouraged us to see that the Lord seems to be broadening our borders beyond what we had expected. It was an encouragement to us to hear his perspective.
"Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep [me] from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested." 1 Chronicles 4:10b

Thanks again for putting us up when we were in Florida. After reading this article, we looked for a PM magazine but all the May issues were already taken off the shelves and the June ones were up. Someone suggested that I go to the PM website and order it from there - I have yet to do that, but I might just order 2 or 3 so I can hand them out to my dad and brothers. Loved visiting, loved ITEC, loved swimming in Rainbow Springs - thanks again!!
