We were blessed this week by a visit from friends from RMCC, our home church in Canada, and our pastor and his daughter from our church in Peru. The visit was made extra special because the families already knew each other from earlier trips to Peru and Pastor John's trip to Canada.
The group enjoyed a tour of Itec, a lunch visit with Steve Saint and a meal at Don Pepe's Mexican Restaurant. We were greatly encouraged by our visit with the Daze and Butikofer families. There is something special about fellowship with old friends. It was wonderful to share with them the ministry at Itec and how God has brought our family here to partner with Itec.
During there prior visit to Itec, Pastor John and Michelle expressed a desire to be trained in the I-See program. When they return to Peru next week, they plan to train the CC pastors to use I-See as a ministry tool. What a blessing to combine their training with a visit from our friends from RMCC.
